Elementary lessons are back! This time, we’ve created an Earth Systems unit especially for grade one.
Available in both French and English, these lessons are unified around the four seasons in Alberta, weaving in curriculum connections from both Science and Language Arts. The materials, which include lesson plans, links to videos and stories, handouts, and projects, support wholistic learning by incorporating land-based principals and Indigenous perspectives.
How you use the materials in this pack is up to you; you can use everything all at once or in bits and pieces to complement your existing lessons. All School Garden Studio lesson plans are available through the Teaching Library; login required.
