Thanks to AMA’s School Garden Studio bursary this winter, we’re happy announce that a new crop of grade 7 teachers have been awarded the seed money they need to foster garden projects at their schools. In total, nearly $92,000 will be shared through the winter 2025 bursary program. AMA’s School Garden Studio bursary is proudly funded by the AMA Community Foundation and its donors, who, like us, believe in the power of nurturing growth—both in gardens and in young minds.
This bursary is a testament to the incredible vision they’ve shared for their students and school community. So, congratulations to the following schools:

In the meantime, we invite everyone to keep exploring the growing collection of resources available within the studio. From the teaching library to grant listings to community conversations, there are countless ways to bring the School Garden Studio into your classroom. We’re nurturing not just gardens but also hope, collaboration, and a brighter future for our young Albertans.
We can’t wait to see the incredible things you and your students accomplish!
